To support community leaders looking for solutions, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and Discovery Education offer no-cost prevention resources through the Operation Prevention program. The program aims to combat the growing epidemic of prescription opioid misuse and heroin use by educating students about the science behind addiction and its impacts on the brain and body. This initiative for grades 3-12, educators, and parents delivers standards-aligned, digital resources for use in the classroom and at home.
