Job Posting - City of Ocean Class II Wastewater Operator
The Town of Oceana will have a job opening for a Class II Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator. Qualifications shall include: operate treatment plant per state and federal regulations; maintain and repair plant and equipment; maintain and repair sewer collection system; maintain all records and reports per state and federal regulation; assist all other departments when needed; maintain sludge disposal program; operate backhoe; prepare monthly work schedule and submit to the town mayor at city hall; serve as department head over sewage treatment plant employees. Starting salary will be determines by experience and qualifications.
